Description

Lovely classic Victorian king size brass and iron bed. Professionally restored to preserve for another century. Pleasing simple detail in decorative castings. Side rails have been strengthened, extended and adapted to support modern king size mattress 5' x 6'6"/150cm x 200 cm. Frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in little Greene paint company dark lead with aged brass.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (Used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
