Description

Lovely Victorian Half Tester made by Winfield and Co of Birmingham Elegant taper tube posts and pleasing curly design. The bed has been restored with corner joints checking for good fit and side rails lengthened and strengthened to support wood slats. Hand finished in Little Greene paint company Loft White and waxed. The brass knobs have been polished and left to naturally age or can be maintained with polishing. Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6"/150cm x 200cm.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (As used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
