Description

Lovely original painted Empire style French queen size bed, bedside and pair of chairs. Unusual four panel foot board with carved wreaths,swags and drapes. Head board has carving depicting an urn with reeded panels. The original paint has faded and worn which gives the piece a lovely aged patina please see close up images. Matching pair of chairs had caned seats and carved turned legs.Bedside is lined with tin as was traditionally done for country style pot cupboards from this time. Suitable for three quarter mattress size 120cm x 190cm A delightful set for a lucky single sleeper or a night or two for two!
