Description

Fabulous super king size Victorian brass and iron bed. Very good brass decorations with shell faces on castings with central circular gallery. and very individual original brass knobs and collars.This bed has been professionally restored with side rails strengthened, extended and adapted to support wood slats and super king size mattress 6' x 6'6"/180cm x 200cm. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Little Greene paint company Jet Black with aged brass.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2' or 4" deep upholstered mini box base for £295/£350. (4" Used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £350-£1075. Please ask for details or look at base and mattress section of our own web site.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
