Description

Beautiful French caned Bergere king size lit bateau. Lovely shaping and curves in frame as well as foliate carvings Pleasing extra central leg on side rail. Good colour and patina in wooden frame. Cane in good condition. Lower section of caning inside of foot has been professionally replaced during the beds lifetime. See image 8. Suitable for either UK standard king size mattress at 5'x x6'6" inside the rails or European king size at 160cm x 200 cm on top of the rails.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses.
