Very handsome carved mahogany and Bergere Louis XVI style caned bed with curved corner detail. Fluted legs and pleasing garland and foliate details. Carved details continue along side rails. The bed has been cleaned and polished to preserve beautiful patina in the timber.Cane in very good condition. Suitable for king size mattress 150cm x 200 cm

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. 2" base used in photograph £225. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses.
