Description

Nice French caned bergere king size bed with pretty carved fruit wood frame. Pleasing simple shaping. Cane in good usable condition with small historic repair in foot board. We have cleaned and waxed the frame and sympathetically extended the side rails to suit modern length king size mattress 1500cm x 200 cm.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (Used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
