Description

Very attractive simple French all iron bedstead with fleurs de lys detail decorative castings. Very sturdy construction with the traditional jigsaw fittings. We have sympathetically restored this bed which has been shot blasted and hand finished in Little Greene paint company dark lead. Side rails have been lengthened , strengthened and adapted to support wood slat base and to fit a standard modern king size mattress size 150cm x 200 cm.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (as used for photograph) or 4" with springs for superior mattress support.
