Retirement Sale, sale price £220.00Victorian Boxed Set Of Silver Salts.
The set comprises of 4 salts & 4 spoons made by Vale Bros & Sermon, hallmarked for Birmingham 1884. Each crisp hallmark has the head duty mark of Queen Victoria.
The set is housed in the original box from the retailers Percy Edwards & Co 71 Piccadilly, London.
An interesting point is the retailers are by appointment to the Duke Of Edinburgh who at the time was Alfred the 2nd son & 4th child of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert.
Condition very good for age, box as can be seen in photo.
Size of box 11 cm by 11 cm.
