Description
Antique Pewter Coffee Pot.This is an early & rare example of the work of James Dixon before he was joined by his sons.
Stamped to base James Dixon.
The coffee pot has a wooden handle & finial to lid, gadrooning to rim of lid & has an elegant spout. As with many domestic items the pot has suffered a dent to the base of the body & a knock to the end of the spout. Perfectly understandable considering its age.
There is an age related crack to handle which is stable. A good decorative item.
Size height 9.50" base 4.25" diameter.
