Antique Decoy Duck.
This Edwardian decoy duck has been carved in Pine & decorated to imitate a Mallard.
Used to lure wild ducks by hunters. A great piece of folk art.
The original metal ring is intact, this would be used to attach a line so that the duck could be retrieved at the end of the day.
Condition: as should be expected the paint is rubbed in places but this is a good used item with plenty of character.Still retains the original glass eyes.
