Antique Walnut Tunbridge Ware Box.
The box is constructed from Walnut & is inlaid with typical Tunbridge ware inlays.
This Box has the original lock, key & escutcheon, it is lined with faded blue felt. The underneath has a cream coloured baize to stop it scratching polished surfaces. The box is in good used condition & has a chibble on the front left hand corner as can be seen in photo.
A nice little touch is the original owner wrote inside the lid, " Mary Ann Dolby Rydale 1888 my box"
