Description

a cast iron contraption used for drilling clamped pieces. Circa 1920 probably. It has a revolving shaft turned by crank or wheel and a plunging mechanism. It was probably made to be used vertically, on a wall, and is mounted on a stout slab of timber, likely elm.

Good decorative item but certainly could be used still.
Shipping information
Delivery cost depends on the item and your patience..

Generally £20-40 for 30-40 miles radius from Hastings. For London and further afield we use a trusted courier please ask for a quote. As a guideline, a chest of drawers to London is usually £50 and comes within 1-2 weeks. You might wait up to 3-4 weeks to far flung corners of the country. If that's too long, we can arrange another courier but that might be more expensive.

Help with larger items will be required your end, unless you pay for an extra body (not cheap..) and whilst he doesn't just dump it at the kerbside, he'll grumble if he has to do four trips up three flights of stairs, in which case, ask nicely, give him a bit extra and offer him a cup of tea..
