A fine bronze reproduction of the ancient mythological figure. This bronze dates from circa 1880 and has both the Barbedienne and Collas foundry stamps. Lovely condition with a deep rich patination. Mounted on a green Vert Maurin marble oval shaped base. Finely detailed and complete with no damage, losses or repairs. This version features in the 1886 Barbedienne catalogue priced at Fr280. Height is 47 cms overall.
