Description

A parcel-gilt, patinated bronze bust of the God of Wine also known as Dionysus.

The head is decorated with a garland of ivy leaves, grapes and a taenia, a ribbon for the hair which passes across the forehead. Condition is good with no damages or losses. The gilding and patination have worn in places.

Height is 15.5 cms.
