After the antique, a very fine Italian Grand Tour bronze of Plato, on a stepped marble and bronze plinth. Beautiful patina and detail, 29cm high.

This piece is in near museum standard condition. Late 18th - early 19th Century. Dark green mottled marble plinth in the form of an inverted obelisk.
