Fine quality set of eight mahogany dining chairs comprising of 2 carvers and 6 chairs, all stamped for H. Samuel, 484 Oxford Street , London, noted dealers in works of art and top quality furniture.
with shaped top rails and pierced splats, these fabulous chairs have amazingly intricate and crisply carved details, very generously proportioned serpentine front seats in their original dark green buttoned leather upholstery and raised on square tapering legs with spade feet.
normal marks, scuffs etc commensurate with age and use but overall these handsome chairs are very heavy and solidly constructed and really are the finest quality.
