Lovely vintage Caithness Atlantis Ltd Edition large Glass Paperweight designed by Colin Terris in 1979This paperweight is in clear amethyst glass and is facet cut to enhance viewing the design was inspired by the legendry underwater city of Atlantis
Very nice vintage retired paperweight in vintage condition from the limited edition of 1500 this paperweight is number 318 / 1500 acid etched to base Caithness `` Atlantis`` Scotland with its edition numbers and ltd edition number certifcate
Colin Terris was one of the leading glass artists working for Caithness Glass he designed / made some of the most sort after collectable paperweights his beautiful paperweights are in private collections and museums around the world
Caithness Glass Company began making paperweights circa 1962 Paul Ysart,Colin Terriss,Alistair Macintosh,Margot Thomson Inns Burn where some of Caithness makers designers of Caithness glass paperweights.
