Vintage Westerwald rhineland German Salt Glazed Stone Ware Bacchus Mask Punch Bowl in Cobalt Blue.Very Large Piece Modeled in Relief with a Wonderful Bacchus Figure Modeled as a Hooded Monk to the Lid .
The Bowl with Bellarmine Renaissance Faces And Lions Heads to Each Side With Cornucopia Goat /Sheep Handles Horn of Plenty Symbols of Abundance and Nourishment very Large Piece of Vintage German Stone Ware,approx 19 inches high.
The Lid of the Bowl has a glued repair to a small piece of the outer rim of the lid,Otherwise this piece of Westerwald is in very good condition.
Dates to early 20th century circa 1920s 1930s.
