Description
An original and rare large poster of the historic IONA ABBEY. on Scotland's Hebridian IslandProduced for the London Midland and Scottish Railway company in 1928.
Printed in England by McCorquodale & Co. Ltd London
The original artwork is by Norman Wilkinson born 1878 died 1971.
A British artist he became a member of Royal Institute of painters in water colours in 1906
The poster has been framed it measures 105 cm high by 130 cm wide.
It is in very good condition, strong colours with no fading, it has a small trace of a water stain along top left corner that is hardly noticeable.
I have had the image taken out of the frame so I can show it without reflections.
