The dense covering of flowers is created in true Shelley style: tastefully and delicately with a thoughtful selection of pastel shades that perfectly contrast with one other, just like its name: 'melody': the green, pink and yellow coupled with the butterflies create an idyllic, blissful scene from nature.

Condition report

In overall good condition, cup & saucer are in excellent condition with minor age related wear but no chip or cracks, the side plate is in good condition, however there has been a small knock to the rim causing an area of gilding to chip away.
