Here we have for sale this delightful early 20th century Art Deco Shelley Pink Phlox pattern bowl in good condition. This seems to be quite an early example because it has the earlier back stamp, an early numbering system/serial number and was made before the Ideal China range came out. This bowl could even have been an early prototype of the pink version as the pink phlox Shelley range became a softer pink colour in later years.

This Shelley phlox flower pattern is so beautiful iconic and culturally important that the blue example is featured in the Victoria & Albert Museum collection in London.

The bowl is in overall good condition and free of any chips, cracks, some evident age related wear to the decoration plus some firing errors particularly to the reverse of the bowl, please see the attached photos.
