An unusual and pretty set of 6 arts and crafts dining chairs in satin birch with rush seats . The tapering back legs are echoed in the tapering back splats which are held by square section ebony dowels . The dowels finish in a rounded point to match the top of the back legs ( difficult to show in a photo ) . Possibly Scottish or Austrian , the frames have been tightened where necessary , cleaned and waxed .DateArts and Crafts :
