Description

This is a very nice example of a GPO 328L with drawer. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It is a very desirable "bell on bell off" model and has been wired to work perfectly and retains the original switch mechanism. It has been fitted with a best quality all British manufactured hand plaited braided handset cord, a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket and a very best quality electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards. It has been full tested on a special line simulator and then on my own BT land line to make sure it is working perfectly. The handset is dated 1954. It has a genuine GPO No12 alpha numeric dial.I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
