Description

This is a wonderful looking telephone and quite unusual. Although the base is quite large it had so much switching gear inside it had no bells. This one has been fitted with a nice loud double gong bell mechanism and so will now work perfectly as a standard house telephone. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has been fitted out with a bell internally and retains a perfect GPO No12 alpha numeric dial face. It is fitted with best quality hand plaited all British manufactured braided cord to both handset and line in. It has GPO BT20 connection block to a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket.It also has an electronic microphone for perfect modern use. It is ready to simply plug in and go and I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge. Not it has the drawer base and looks wonderful. The handset is dated 1955. The switch is not operational but looks very impressive.
