Ideal Christmas present to ad a real piece of working history into your period home. This was the model you will see being used by the farther in "Mary Poppins" to call the police etc.
These are rare to find now and so it is nice for me to be able to offer one on my site.

This was so good I thought I would leave it as found with only a little gentle cleaning. Nothing is polished and so if you like your telephones as is then this may be for you. The mouth piece has a little paint and still dull etc. Some of the metal work has been stripped of the black finish at some time in its past. I have kept all the original wiring in place and added a network card to allow it to work perfectly. Unfortunately this model cannot be used on the line as it was designed for battery operation and so this is the best option to keep it all original and still work perfectly to receive calls. It has an electronic microphone fitted for perfect modern use. The label is a reproduction. The wooden back cover is missing but was simply a piece of thin board to enclose the batteries etc.
