Description

A handsome pair of WMF silverplated relief plaques featuring fighting stags by Fritz Diller (1875-1945). These impressive plaques are in their original lacquered frames and have had some light restoration the backing has been replaced with baize. The plaques are stamped on the reverse for WMF with a pattern number this is hidden by the baize but can easily be removed. The plaques are silver plated but have a good vintage patina with the plate showing very minimal signs of wear.
