Description
George III Lidded Tankard 1792 London Hallmarked. Two Pint Capacity.Various makers of the time used IB hallmark, difficult to distinguish exact maker.
Weight: 913.5g (29.3 Troy Oz.)
Dimensions: 152mm H, 112mm Base W, 100mm Top W
Lid bears a family crest of three recumbent lions with a crest of a hand holding an armoured arm which is in turn holding a lizard. Interesting piece, nice original condition, original assay scrapes to base.
