A rare and collectible silver-plated snuff box, with inlaid tortoiseshell lid featuring an image of S.S. Montcalm in relief, framed in a blue enamel lozenge.

S.S Montcalm was built in 1921 by John Brown shipbuilders on Clydebank for Canadian Pacific Steamship Company, Liverpool. She was requisitioned by the British Admiralty in 1939 for war work and finally scrapped in 1952 (ref & )
