Description

A superb pair of early 20th C. Japanese cloisonne jars.

Both jars are decorated on the front with a charming prunus tree in blossom and a soaring bird, the designs being symmetrical on either vase. Small cloisonne 'clouds' fill a stunning eggshell blue background. Further prunus blossom design to the rear and on the lids. The collar of each vase is decorated with a distinctive red, blue and green design as illustrated.
