Description
A magnificent carved oak Arts & Crafts folding screen. The screen is in 3 pieces each of which are 188 cm high and 77 cm wide. The total width of the screen is 2.31m.It is hinged so that it will fold in both directions.Each panel has an embroidered central panel featuring a woman representing " Peace, Charity and Glory" Possibly representing a Victorian interpretation of "The 3 Graces"
The screen is in excellent condition.
On the bottom of one of the panels is written - Lebel Delalande, Rue St. Honore, Paris.
