A beautiful and rare mid-19th century cast iron and later marble topped console table by James Yates of Rotherham. Condition is very good and this console could be used either internally or externally

James Yates was the founder of the firm of Yates, Haywood and Co. the iron foundry at Effingham Works, Rotherham, and is noted for his high quality castings
