An absolutely fabulous and huge French papier mache carnival/fairground/circus model head dating to the first half of the 20th century


Wonderfully modelled the head with a metal frame within and having amusingly styled hair and moustache and comical face


This is a rare survival from the early 20th century and is a real statement piece which would look amazing standing on the floor or a table or sideboard or wouldn't be too difficult to mount on a stand if required


In good condition for its age with expected wear and tear to the Papier Mache commensurate with age and use
