A fine Old Sheffield Plate coffee pot dating to circa 1820Standing on four ball feet and with oblong base
The main body of plain form and having gadrooned rims with fruitwood handle that terminates with a scrolling thumbpiece and having foliate design finial to the hinged lid
The reeded spout terminating in a Griffin or mythical beast
In fine condition with little or no plate loss and of an unusually large size
Height 9 inches or 22.5 cm
Width 11.5 inches or 30 cm
Depth 5 inches or 13 cm
