A rare Liberty of London inlaid mahogany Arts and Crafts movement chair dating to circa 1890-1900Standing on slightly curving legs with stretchers under the back having three spindles rising to inlaid carved and decorated panel to the top
This is a superb chair in classic Arts and Crafts style by probably the finest maker/retailer of the period
Stamped to the back of the seat for Liberty of London
A rare example in good original condition this chair is a statement piece or talking point in any room setting or perhaps in a hallway, landing or even a bedroom
