An Early 18th Century Oak Wing Chair.

Recently purchased on a buying trip to Somerset.

An interesting chair and a style that i have not seen before this chair is of joined construction of large proportions with cabriole front legs and wing sides ,rope seat and upholstered cushion seat.

A grand fire side chair with shaped wing sides to keep ones ears warm.

Lovely colour and wear to the arms and front rail infact in all the places you would expect a patina build up.

18" High to seat.

A favourite of mine this one as it is so inviting to sit in.
