Description

Early 17th century joined oak armchair, the back panel with a carved floral decoration with a single flowerhead to the center, carved in a typical West country fashion with leafy decoration.

The horizontal arms with turned front legs and lunette seat rails.

Good signs of wear to the original seat ,the chair has a very good colour and patina.

In good overall condition the finials are a later addition and two stretchers are period replacements and there are later iron supports under the seat

Recently purchased from a kentish farm which has been with the same family since 1860.
