A superb early 17th spanish chestnut coffer

Of plank construction held by large dovetails,the plain front with chipped carved applied end pilasters,the original plinth base with chip carving and floral motifs.

Original hinges and flamboyant lock plate.

The interior with a lidded till to the end.

Good colour all round,the right hand side plinth is later with original top moulding and the rear plinth border is later.
