16th century english oak romayne panel dated 41 ( 1541 )

This high end panel with precise detail with wreath border and leaf and bud corners ,with two greenman faces flanking the escutchean with the date 41 carved in medieval lettering.

With original hinges ,i believe this door to be from a built in wall cupboard.

The boards have been glued back where they have come apart overtime and now are solid.

Good colour the profile has allways been left plain and the border with an ebonised finish.
