with green paint

the spindled hoop back ,with spindle u shape arms over solid elm saddle seat with four staked legs with good signs of wear. This is a good example of an early hoop chair of this period,it is of a good weight and in original condition ,retaining 60% of its paint,also showing fantastic overall colour and patina in the right places. A good solid example with a lot of character

good surface ,signs of old worm to the back of the seat,also the back of the seat has a crack but is solid this is all present in all pictures
