english tudor linenfold joined chest

circa 1530

with three linenfold panels to the front and two linenfold panel sides. With a four panel lid with original hinges

the back is also of a joined construction with panels. Two of the top panels are later and there are signs where the end rail was removed to do this and the lock has been blanked

but a good early example and new to the market place
