Description

A magnificent antique Victorian inlaid burr walnut work or sewing table dating from circa 1870. Featuring a beautifully inlaid top over a single frieze drawer with working lock and key in boxwood with compartments for sewing materials above a sliding box for needlework etc.. The whole piece on turned and tapered uprights united by a turned cross stretcher and supported on carved cabriole legs terminating in ceramic castors. A lovely attractive piece of small proportions that would also make a wonderful side or lamp table.

Condition Report:
General marks and wear commensurate with age. Wonderful original colour and patina. A few old veneer mends and a few small chips to the veneer in places.
