Description

An impressive Victorian carved oak wall mirror dating from circa 1890. Original bevelled mirror plate within a superbly carved and pierced frame with scrolling acanthus leaves with wonderful age and colour. Could be used as a wall mirror or would also work well as a hall or bathroom mirror. Comes complete with brass hanging chain set up to hang in landscape but can easily be changed to hang in portrait as per requirements.

Good condition. General wear, and marks to mirror and frame commensurate with age. Some small blemishes and loss of silvering to the mirror plate.
