Description

A very good quality pair of antique William IV mahogany side chairs or library chairs dating from circa 1830. They have flame figured mahogany top rails with carved gadrooned edges over intricately carved and pierced centre rails with bow designs. The chairs have reeded and turned front legs and sabre back legs. The drop in seats have been newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in good condition. The chairs are solid and sturdy with good patina.
