Description

A very unusual antique Edwardian Chinoiserie armchair, in Chinese Chippendale taste dating from circa 1910. With a geometric lattice work back, with lacquered painted and gilt scenes of male and female characters within a backdrop of willow trees along with flowers. It has gilt edges with decorative designs to the arms and stands on cabriole legs with carved ball and claw feet. Upholstered in a gold velour type fabric. A really stylish and unusual piece in good condition, that would grace any room.
