Description

A very pleasing antique oil painting of a fishing boat entering a harbour in heavy seas dating from circa 1880 and attributed to William Henry Williamson [British 1820-1883]. The painting is unsigned but has “Att W.H. Williamson” written on the reverse. Further to this we have had this painting valued online and it was the experts opinion that this attribution is correct, this painting being typical of Williamson’s work. It was given an insurance value of £800 (August 2014). We will include a copy of this certificate with the purchase of the painting.
Medium

Oil on Canvass in later gilt frame.
Condition report
