Description

A very decorative antique Victorian Gothic Revival chair in solid oak with olive coloured leatherette upholstery dating from circa 1890. With elaborately vine leaf carved and pierced back. The side supports are barley twist and topped with finials. The back legs are also barley twist and the stretchers and front legs. It has been fairly recently professionally reupholstered with olive green leather and brass studs.

Fairly solid and sturdy it has been fairly recently reupholstered in a leatherette. Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames. Good colour and patina to the frame. An old (solid) mend to one of the stretchers.
