Description

A charming antique Edwardian rectangular gilt framed wall mirror dating from circa 1910. With attractive foliate decoration to the cushion moulded frame with inner border of beading. It has a modern replacement mirror plate. To the back it has a brass hanging chain and an old label: “Herman Wahl & Sohn Gegrundet 1836”.

Gesso, wood
Condition Report:
Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Glass is a replacement. Good patina to the frame – gilding is original and has been overpainted in a few places. A few small losses to the frame as to be expetced with age.
