Description

A handsome large antique Edwardian mahogany and inlaid framed overmantle mirror dating from circa 1905. With an oval bevelled mirror plate flanked by moulded pilasters with acanthus carved capitals. In a mahogany veneer, beautifully figured with good original patina with extensive inlay in a Sheraton revival design, the shaped top pelmet with satinwood inlay. A good quality, large sized overmantle with a really good warm colour and patina to the mahogany frame.

Good condition with some minor wear and marks commensurate with age. Really good warm colour and patina to the mahogany frame. Bevelled mirror plate is original with some general age related wear, light foxing and loss of silvering in places.
