1900 Manhattan No.1 5" Battery Fan. All Original Condition. Around The Turn Of The Century, The Popularity Of The Electric Fan Had Grown. The Market Began To Offer Smaller Battery Powered Fans, Some Offered As An Outfit Including Battery Box Equipped With Porcelain Cell Batteries. This Is A Pristine Original Example Of Manhattan No.1 Fan. This Motor Has Its Original 5" Diameter Brass Blade. The Paint And Pin Stripes On This Example Are In Excellent Condition.Date1900s
